This position is part of a remote team and can be based in either the North Coast (Astoria or Tillamook) or the Mid-Willamette Valley (Salem or West Oregon) regions of Oregon.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"DEFAULT\">\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><u>What Will You Do<\/u><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">You will coordinate, develop, implement and monitor reforestation and young stand silviculture activities across the State Forest Division. You will work with the Seedling and Young Stand Silviculture coordinator to update the reforestation policy and procedures manual and to help implement universal standards across the division. You will be a part of the yearly planning process and will collaboratively determine the needs of each district and to help coordinate contracted services and the sharing of resources across districts. You will help create and implement universal data collection, management, and storage. You will use best available science and adaptive management to improve business practices. You will work with Resource Specialists as needed to ensure environmental and conservation goals are being met while ensuring reforestation success.
