This position has an anticipated term of three years, with the possibility of further extension. The person in this position will work independently with limited general day-to-day oversight as well as work closely with senior project managers to plan, design, and implement project management plans and construction management plans to complete major capital projects. \u00a0Projects may include landfill area development and closure; recycling and transfer stations, and operational enhancements.<\/p>\n<p>The position requires competencies in project management; contract administration; schedule development and analysis; cost estimating\/analysis; performance monitoring and reporting; advanced project risk management; communication and leading project teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Teleworking Requirement:<\/strong>\u00a0The work associated with this position will be performed predominantly by teleworking, with occasional onsite work and meetings, as influenced by business needs. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in WA state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection (access may be supplemented in some situations) where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.
