No assumptions will be made about your experience.<\/p>\n<p><b>For GS-14<\/b>: You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity as indicated by the following examples: 1) Providing services as a project manager for geospatial technology projects, related to the design, development, acquisition, and delivery of geospatial software and services. 2) Applying geospatial systems operations and support activities related to technical options, processing procedures, geospatial analysis logic, geospatial computer languages, and the general principles of geospatial information management. 3) Applying judgement to develop new insights into Bureau-wide situations using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). 4) Supervising users and support personnel in maintaining and improving Geospatial Infrastructure. 5) Managing project planning and operations of project teams. 6)Applying project planning, project management and system design for user-oriented systems. 7) Communicating orally and written presenting information clearly and convincingly; explaining and justifying recommendations; provide guidance; responding to inquiries and interacting with high level officials.<\/p>\n<p>Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
