The Land Quality Division supports the agency&#8217;s mission by managing environmental cleanups, assessing cleanup sites, promoting manufacturing and recycling of non-toxic commercial products, safely managing the disposal of solid and hazardous wastes, overseeing the state&#8217;s underground storage tank and heating oil tank programs, ensuring timely response and cleanup of spills of oil and hazardous materials, and regulating safe discharge of ballast water to state waters. You will do this by making program data more easily accessible and understandable, including spatial patterns and relationships. You will manage and develop reports for federal grant expectations, including work plan estimates and outcomes, task budget tracking, staff charges, and reporting. You will evaluate and implement changes to reporting and invoicing forms, web pages, information management systems, policies, and procedures by understanding why they are needed and the best way to meet that need. You will evaluate program operations, identify process improvements, and work with managers and staff to implement procedures and processes to improve Environmental Cleanup program outcomes. You will serve as the Environmental Cleanup expert on data management and reporting by understanding and explaining rules, policies, and procedures, in order to provide meaningful and accessible communication with external and internal audiences.
