The ability to create programs that are inclusive,\u00a0affordable,\u00a0equitable and accessible\u00a0allowing\u00a0mostly youth to engage in play in a unique historic farm setting.\u00a0You will provide coordination and supervision of comprehensive programs, events, and services at the\u00a0Kelsey Creek Farm.\u00a0The\u00a0Farm\u00a0and\u00a0Park\u00a0is operated by the City of Bellevue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>You must engage well with patrons of all ages and backgrounds, possess good computer technology skills, be detailed oriented and willing to work a schedule that includes evenings and weekends. implements, and reviews a wide range of community programs and events.\u00a0This includes programing based on farm animals, agriculture and history of this site.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ability to teach and lead programs that incorporates\u00a0Kelsey Creek Farm animals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Conducts research to stay current on recreation program development and management.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Develops and monitors program budgets and tracks revenue and expenditures; writes and monitors grants, funding requests and miscellaneous proposals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Assists with the development, recommendation and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for the assigned areas of responsibility.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Recruits, hires, trains, and evaluates program staff and volunteers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Coordinates and works with volunteers and citizens in providing recreational programs and project enhancements to the stie.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Recruits, trains, supervise\u00a0and\u00a0evaluates contracted\u00a0program\u00a0instructors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Markets\u00a0programs and events using the most current social media to reach a diverse audience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Assists in planning and implementation of events, including but not limited to, the Bellevue Family 4th.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Develops public relations marketing strategies, presentations, and promotional materials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Drafts memos, briefs,\u00a0contracts\u00a0for\u00a0services,\u00a0and other correspondence as needed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Interacts and collaborates with other recreation and service providers, sponsors and City personnel on projects and programs\u00a0at Kelsey Creek Farm and other City facilities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Performs office duties including answering the phone, registering participants, copying, completing forms, and providing customer service, as needed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Reports to and works under the supervision of the\u00a0Kelsey Creek\u00a0Farm Services\u00a0Supervisor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Exercises supervision over partially benefited employees, volunteers. \u00a0In\u00a0the\u00a0and\u00a0in\u00a0the absence of the Community Services Supervisor\u00a0and the site.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<dt>Qualifications<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree\u00a0in education, public administration, social\u00a0sciences\u00a0related field(s).?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Four or more years of progressively responsible related experience in human\u00a0services,\u00a0programming recreation activities or a related area.?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>First Aid and CPR, Occupational Blood Born Pathogens and Defensive Driving certification
