Wildlife\u2019s state legislative requests.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>With your experience<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0you will lead internal teams to develop bill ideas, scope language, and develop outreach strategies.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>This is an opportunity<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0to be responsible for providing cross program and region advice, as well as promoting high quality customer service with both internal and external partners, especially legislative offices.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The optimal applicants<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0are customer service driven leaders, with strong self-awareness skills, understanding and relating to different personalities and cultures in a manner that fosters collaboration, trust, and solution-oriented thinking.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>We are seeking a candidate,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0who respects and values the opinions of others, creating an inclusive team environment where every member feels they contribute value to the project and WDFW.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt>Duties<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>Our\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Legislative Coordinator,\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Legislative Strategy Development and Coordination:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitates agency Legislative Coordination Team meetings to keep executive management and programs organized during the legislative session.<\/li>\n<li>Trains and provides technical assistance to Legislative Coordinators and program managers on the legislative process to ensure efficient workflow during the legislative session.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares weekly hearing schedules and helps ensure staff coverage at legislative hearings and meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Coordinates Agency Bill Development Process:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leads bill development and outreach teams for agency request legislation &#8211; coordinating internal subject matter experts, conducting research on policy and fiscal impacts and formulating recommendations for the Legislative Director, Director of Budget and Government Affairs, and Executive Management Team.<\/li>\n<li>Develops and maintains timeline, proposal forms and guidance documents for the development of agency legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bill Tracking:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serves as the agency\u2019s administrator of the Bill Analysis Tracking System, LobbyGov and other legislative tracking systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures systems are up-to-date and staff are trained in how to use them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Legislative Outreach and Coordination:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviews documents, reports, and legislative assignments to ensure consistency and accuracy within RCWs, WACs, and Departmental policy.<\/li>\n<li>Resolves legislative customer complains &#8211;
