Examples: Overseeing the work of a variety of professional, technical and administrative staff in a natural resource environment as a supervisor, work lead, or technical expert; programming and budgeting duties to ensure accomplishments are within budget allocations; providing input to the preparation, implementation, and conformance of land use plans, interdisciplinary activity plans and ecosystem plans; promoting internal and external communication and coordination with local interest groups, individuals, the general public, State and local governments; or participating on, or leading, interdisciplinary teams (ID) working on a variety of natural resource projects.<\/p>\n<p>Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
