The department consists of four divisions: \u00a0Recreation, Maintenance, Administration and Resource Stewardship. Our mission is to be a leader in creating livable communities by providing opportunities for people to connect with nature, live healthy lifestyles, enjoy vibrant community spaces, and learn about sustainable practices.<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/www.co.pierce.wa.us\/index.aspx?NID=114\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Learn more about the Pierce County Parks Department<\/a><\/div>\n<p><strong>As a condition of employment, the applicant will need to authorize and complete a background check.
