This position is required to independently prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met while completing tasks on time.<\/p>\n<p>\nDuties include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review documents, records, or applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with rules; determines and explains action necessary to achieve compliance or approval.<\/li>\n<li>Composes office correspondence such as requests for documentation and responses to requests for information; devises, evaluates, and revises forms for internal use.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews and verifies fiscal reports for accuracy; investigates and corrects errors to ensure compliance with established procedures and policies.<\/li>\n<li>Uses basic arithmetic to perform computations.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes and maintains complex electronic or manual file systems or data base files.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares or assists in the preparation, compilation, and coordination of reports and records such as financial, payroll, labor distribution, equipment usage, purchasing, inventory, personnel scheduling, registration, and testing.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares tables, charts, and graphs as required.<\/li>\n<li>Performs complex Word processing tasks such as merging and sorting, integrating text with graphics, spreadsheets, data base files, uploading\/downloading, creating footnotes and outlines.<\/li>\n<li>Uses spreadsheet and data bases software to develop and maintain records.<\/li>\n<li>Orders, receives, and maintains inventory, including, but not limited to, life vests, vessel registration checklists, office supplies, and outreach items.<\/li>\n<li>Process material requests from customers including mailing boxes that weigh up to 20 lbs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/dd>\n<dt>Qualifications<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School graduation or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Two (2) years of experience providing assistance to customers regarding inquiries, complaints, or problems.<\/li>\n<li>One (1) year of experience with data entry and database applications.<\/li>\n<li>Valid (unrestricted except for corrective lenses) driver&#8217;s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ability to lift items weighing 20 pounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associates Degree or Equivalent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/dd>\n<dt>Supplemental Information<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To ensure consideration, please complete the online job application and profile at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.careers.wa.gov\/\">www.careers.wa.gov<\/a>.
