maintaining compliance with U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) rules and guidelines; collaborating to achieve PBOT\u2019s and BES&#8217;s strategic goals; and successfully delivering PBOT &amp; BES intra-bureau projects, personnel management initiatives, and emergency management functions.<\/p>\n<div id=\"_com_1\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll get to do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide vision, leadership, management and oversite to ESD&#8217;s program and goals<\/li>\n<li>Direct, plans and manages the work and associated resources of the Environmental System Division\u2019s which has a current budget ($20+ million), through managing supervisors, professional and technical staff with overall responsibility for 130 employees.<\/li>\n<li>Implement performance management systems to improve program delivery and productivity with a focus on quality control and assurance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure services are being delivered cost effectively, efficiently and equitably.<\/li>\n<li>Implement comprehensive personnel management strategies to optimize safety, professionalism, and development of the workforce with a focus on citywide goals.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to transforming culture by creating a people centered organization, reviewing programs and processes through an equitable lens, and advocating for anti-racism.<\/li>\n<li>Provide responsive customer service and communication to both PBOT &amp;
