The King County Marine Division operates and maintains the King County Water Taxis and facilities serving Vashon Island\/Downtown Seattle and West Seattle\/Downtown Seattle routes of the King County Water Taxi. This position supports the county’s interest in ensuring a quality customer experience in the operation and delivery of ferry services.<\/p>\n

\nKing County Metro Marine Division will assist selected candidates to obtain a valid United States Coast Guard (USCG) Merchant Mariner’s Document (MMD) or Merchant Mariner’s Credential (MMC) with minimum rating of Ordinary Seaman (OS) and\/or\u00a0a valid Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).<\/p>\n
\nUSCG rating on your MMD or MMC at the AB level Certification in Fire Safety Training and Life Saving Training
