This will typically be a 50\/50 split of customer assistance and operations.\u00a0 This position will report to the Information Services Section Manager.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Accomplished in part by, but is not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Responding to and resolving incidents submitted by customers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Responding to or escalating system alerts generated by monitoring tools.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Resolving, or assigning requests submitted to the agency\u2019s ticketing system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Provides training to agency staff on the use of desktop computers and software<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Configure and maintain agency workstations, laptops and other technological equipment managed by the IS <span class=\"WEV2\">department.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Creates, updates and publishes documentation of commonly used troubleshooting tasks and procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"DEFAULT\">\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Minimum Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Three (3) years of information systems experience in:<br \/>\n(agency will specify specific experience);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">OR<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">\u00a0An Associate&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field. OR\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or a related field: And one (1) year of information systems experience in a Service Desk environment.\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>The most competitive candidate(s), application(s) will demonstrate the following requested skills and experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Expert knowledge of windows desktop operating systems and networking.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">IT Operations center experience including responding to and resolving system alerts and working in a tiered support structure<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Proven record of strong customer service skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"DEFAULT\">\n<p dir=\"DEFAULT\">\n<p dir=\"LTR\">This position is represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and will be subject to all terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
