This position independently monitors and maintains records on the progress of work to ensure projects are completed on time. Initiating and following through on permit contract development and agreements\/requirements with customers. Additional duties may include supporting permitting of a public event permit processes, delivering, and updating information to the public regarding parks and related services, programs, activities, and other related tasks and duties as assigned. Incumbents must have the ability to thoroughly explain city codes, policies, procedures and fees to community members and other organizations as well as have an extensive knowledge of insurance standards, coverage, and requirements as they apply to permitting of public spaces.
