Primary responsibility will be on overseeing work performed on federal and state lead sediment cleanup projects associated with King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) outfall discharges. The position will provide oversight and management of multi-department County staff and consultant teams and will scope, plan, budget and provide technical direction for design and construction to implement the County\u2019s Sediment Management Plan. The position will also provide policy analysis and regulatory review related to impairments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is Eligible:\u00a0<\/strong>This position is open to all qualified King County employees in the Department Of Natural Resources and Parks. First consideration will be given to members of the Technical Employees Association.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Permanent Telecommuting Requirement<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The work associated with this position will be performed remotely on a permanent basis. \u00a0There will be situations where the employee is required to report to a County worksite.\u00a0<span lang=\"EN\">Employees must reside in WA state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">Employees will be provided with a County issued\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN\">laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN\">connection<\/span><span lang=\"EN\">\u00a0(access may be supplemented in some situations) where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.
