Information received from the background check is reviewed case-by-case and will not necessarily remove an applicant from consideration.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Sessions include: May 1st \u2013 June 12 \u00a0(Saturdays from 8:00am-4:30pm)<strong><\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong>Essential Functions\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Assist with developing and scheduling of assigned recreational activities and special events at various Pierce County Parks and Recreation locations.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Work independently while leading recreational, educational and enrichment activities, directly teaching, guiding, coaching and motivating participants.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Administer evaluation tools and track data related to program performance and effectiveness.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Assist with the development and delivery of assigned programs; following curriculum established to meet program objectives.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Conduct evaluations of program effectiveness; initiate investigations into problem areas; implement corrective measures.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Onsite supervision during program sessions.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Schedule and communicate with program partners.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Direct the resolution of problems or emergencies affecting availability or quality of services.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Prepare and maintain records and reports on program functions, track participant hours.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Effectively persuade, inform, educate, train, solicit information, motivate and direct a wide variety of individuals or groups.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with County officials, partners, participants and the general public.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Demonstrate and lead recreational activities in a safe manner.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Perform the physical requirements of the position;
