We are\u00a0seeking a Wildfire Response Coordinator to work in the DNR Coordination Center.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<dt>Duties<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nThis position coordinates statewide wildland fire response duties. Due to the commitment needed for DNR Coordination Center (DNR CC) staff, assignments outside the DNR CC are limited. In addition, this position&#8217;s duties and responsibilities are not in alignment with being a member of an Incident Management Team. Responsibilities include: in coordination with the Fire Suppression Program Manager, managing and organizing the DNR CC to ensure it is operational 24\/7. Managing the Interagency Resource Ordering Capability (IROC) program and providing IROC training to DNR staff and other agency personnel. In conjunction with DNR CC staff, responsible for accurately rostering and mobilizing the Type 2 and 3 IMT&#8217;s the DNR CC hosts. This position is also responsible for providing guidance, preparing and analyzing new and existing contracts and agreements; assisting in the development of agency policies, procedures and statistical fire data for final review and publication; annually assisting with NW IMT member selection process, and is the Firenet 365 Account Coordinator for DNR CC staff.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt>Qualifications<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in an emergency response role using the Incident Command System (ICS), leading or working in an emergency response group or module using ICS, examples include, but not limited to, working in an initial attack, interagency or expanded dispatch office, being a member of an incident management team (IMT), or having a wildland fire single resource boss qualification or higher.<\/li>\n<li>Has completed FEMA ICS 100, 200, and 700 courses.<\/li>\n<li>Experience successfully developing and delivering training\/educational programs to adult audiences with multiple agency personnel\/partner agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to develop\/foster\/maintain professional relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing and analyzing new and existing contracts and agreements. Providing guidance, feedback, review, negotiation and recommendations leading to the approval of new and existing contracts and agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Must be adept at prioritizing, multi-tasking, and making decisions in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment, while maintaining a professional, respectful demeanor in person and during phone conversations. Also, must have the ability to maintain a professional composure and demeanor when the work environment is at a slower pace.<\/li>\n<li>Strong professional writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use independent judgment to resolve problems.<\/li>\n<li>Must nurture respectful relationships. Works to preserve the self-confidence and self-esteem of others.
