\nThe successful candidate will be able to perform the following Essential Duties and Responsibilities, which include the following. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned as needed.
\n\u2022 Passion for the ECOSS mission and\/or the environment, environmental equity, or natural resources conservation.
\n\u2022 Implementation of environmental education, outreach, services, and training according to contract deliverables, on time and on budget.
\n\u2022 Represents ECOSS at community events, functions, and meetings.
\n\u2022 Speaks, reads, and writes in one or more of the following as a first language: Vietnamese, Amharic, Tigrinya, Somali, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Khmer. Other languages considered.
\n\u2022 Ability to review English language documents and work with colleagues to translate and transcreate into one of the desired languages.
\n\u2022 Coordination and planning of outreach events.
\n\u2022 Work as a community liaison to build strategic relationships with government entities, nonprofits, small businesses, and other organization working on environmental justice related issues.
\n\u2022 Will often work outdoors, in all types of weather conditions, as well as indoors with office staff.<\/p>\n
