Work to be conducted primarily on \u00a0streams and rivers within the Sandy and Clackamas River Basins<\/p>\n Anticipated Duration:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n June 1st, 2021 anticipated start date.<\/p>\n Job Description:<\/u><\/b> What you will do:<\/b> The primary responsibility of this position will be to conduct salmon spawning surveys, redd surveys, stream habitat surveys, and fish presence surveys throughout the Sandy and Clackamas River Basins.\u00a0 Duties include:<\/p>\n Position requires a flexible work schedule that varies in the number of hours worked on a daily basis, but not necessarily each day, or a work schedule in which the starting and stopping times vary on a daily basis, but not necessarily each day including most weekends and some night work. Knowledge and background operating non-motorized river-craft in swift water streams.\u00a0 Employees must be self-motivated, willing to work under a variety of conditions, and responsible for the quality of data collected and who possess or are in pursuit of a Fisheries or Wildlife Science degree or related degree in biological\/ecological<\/span> sciences will be given preference for interviews.<\/p>\n Criminal Records\/DMV Check<\/b> \nNOTE:<\/b> Within three days of hire, applicants will be required to complete the U.S. Department Homeland Security’s I-9 form confirming authorization to work in the United States.
