This is for folks who want to lead backpacks, hikes and camping trips. Leaders will also have access to Wilderness First Aid certificate training and Outdoor American Sign Language (ASL) course. *Both training options are pending as of 2\/25. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-6y c1-6z c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\"><u class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-2e c1-2f c1-7z c1-6w c1-2q c1-80 c1-83 c1-b\">Water Adventure Leader<\/u>\u00a0training is everything that the Land Adventure Leader training includes with an additional 3 hours \u00a0of classroom training and separate weekend two night immersion training. \u00a0This is for folks who want to lead single and multi day canoe and kayak adventures. The LDT is where Leaders will learn about Wild Diversity\u2019s philosophy and how it plays a role in our programming and the adventures we lead. Each Adventure Leader will have an understanding of Wild Diversity\u2019s processes and procedures, risk management practices, and how we are adapting in the time of a global pandemic. The LDT gives Leaders the opportunity to progress from leading and planning single day land and water trips to eventual multi day land and water trips.<\/p>\n<p>Wild Diversity has a set of requirements of Adventure Leaders after the LDT in order for our leaders to connect with our community in multiple ways.
