Here is a list of some of the opportunities currently available.<\/h2>\n<p>Please note that the scholarship cycle generally launches in November with deadlines in March of the next year. Please see below to read more about each scholarship\u2019s deadline and eligibility. Maloof Scholarship (Graduate and Undergraduate Studies)<\/h3>\n<p>To honor and financially assist graduate, professional or undergraduate students in Island, Kitsap, Jefferson and Thurston counties. This is a one-time scholarship for $3,000 dollars.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/washboard.wsac.wa.gov\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">theWashBoard<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Atsuhiko Tateuchi Memorial Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>This $5,000 renewable scholarship is available to students from the Pacific Rim states of California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii; preference will be given to students of Japanese or other Asian ancestry, including multi-ethnic Asians.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/seattlefoundation.smapply.org\/prog\/2021_tateuchi_scholarship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Survey Monkey Apply<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Bernie Minsk Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>This scholarship honors Garfield High School graduate, local businessman and community leader Bernie Minsk. E. Boucher Memorial Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>This scholarship was established to honor and support engineering students studying at University of Washington, Washington State University, University of Oregon, and Oregon State University. This is a one-time scholarship for $3,000 dollars.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/washboard.wsac.wa.gov\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">theWashBoard<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Dominic and Jessie Vitulli Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>The Dominic\u00a0and Jessie Vitulli Scholarship supports graduates of Bothell High School in Bothell, Washington, who are enrolled full time at an accredited 4-year college or university in the state of Washington. A scholarship may cover up to fifty percent (50%) of the annual tuition to attend their selected institution. The intent of the scholarship is to encourage and assist students who demonstrate financial need, the potential to succeed, motivation and overall &#8220;well-roundedness.&#8221; Academic achievement is not a primary consideration in awarding the Dominic and Jessie Vitulli Scholarship.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/seattlefoundation.smapply.org\/prog\/dominic_and_jessie_vitulli_scholarship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SurveyMonkey Apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Doug Struthers Memorial Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>Doug Struthers taught at Alexander Graham Bell Elementary in the Lake Washington School District for more than two decades. His hard work, commitment and perseverance made a difference in the school and the community. This scholarship fund was created in his memory to help young people learn skills to serve their communities. Green Scholarship (Graduate Studies)<\/h3>\n<p>Supporting female graduate students of medicine, law, social service, or public service, this scholarship assists current graduate students who study at public universities in the State of Washington with a renewable $4,000 scholarship.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/washboard.wsac.wa.gov\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">theWashBoard<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Gjurasic Family Foundation Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>The purpose of The Gjurasic Family Foundation Scholarship is to honor the roots of the Gjurasic family through supporting post-secondary students at the University of Washington\u2019s College of the Built Environment. The award is up to $5,000 per academic year, and students may reapply. Scholarships will be awarded to qualified high school seniors of African American descent who reside in King, Snohomish, Kitsap, Clallum and Jefferson counties, are U.S. citizens and demonstrate exemplary leadership in their family, school and the African American Community. The Supplemental Support Scholarship is for college students in need of\u00a0<strong>tuition assistance<\/strong>\u00a0or who have\u00a0<strong>basic\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0<strong>urgent\u00a0<\/strong>need for financial support.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/seattlefoundation.smapply.org\/prog\/LinksSupplemental2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SurveyMonkey Apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Hawkins Memorial Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>The purpose of this scholarship is to honor and to give financial support to graduating seniors currently enrolled at Lake Stevens High School who are pursuing a course of study in life sciences, medicine or pharmacy. Preference will be given to students attending the University of Washington. Scholarship awards up to $1,500 and is renewable for up to 4 years.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/washboard.wsac.wa.gov\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">theWashBoard<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Lambeth Family Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>This scholarship, designed to honor and financially support students pursuing a degree in engineering, natural sciences, mathematics, computer science or business, supports high school seniors in Washington State who will study at a public university, community college or technical school. This scholarship varies from $1,000 to $3,000 and is renewable for up to 4 years.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/washboard.wsac.wa.gov\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">theWashBoard<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Linkous Foundation Scholarship Richland and Hanford<\/h3>\n<p>These scholarships, created in memory of Gary L. Linkous (Columbia High School, Class of 1955) supports students enrolled in High Schools in Richland and Hanford. Scholarship amount varies.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/washboard.wsac.wa.gov\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">theWashBoard<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Microsoft Disability Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>The Microsoft Disability Scholarship delivers on the mission of Microsoft\u2019s cross disability employee resource group to empower and enable people with disabilities. This scholarship enables high school students with disabilities to go to college and target a career in the technology industry. In addition, we hope to contribute to increasing the pool of persons living with a disability enrolling in higher education and, in the long term, decrease the unemployment bias for this demographic. There is potential for a renewal of $5,000 for up to four years for a total of $20,000. Application\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/diversity\/programs\/microsoftdisabilityscholarship.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Nora Stone Smith Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>The Nora Stone Smith Scholarship honors and gives financial support to deserving immigrant high school seniors and students who have graduated in the past year and have participated in an ESL\/ELL program at some point in their lives. This scholarship is available for all ESL\/ELL students, regardless of their citizenship status. Undocumented students are encouraged to apply. This scholarship ranges from $1,000 &#8211; $2,000 renewable for 2 or 4 years.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/washboard.wsac.wa.gov\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">theWashBoard<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Patricia Fisher Endowed Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>Established to honor Patricia Fisher, a Puget Sound native, journalist, educator and role model, this scholarship was established by the Seattle Association of Black Journalists to support students of color who pursue college careers in journalism. This one-time scholarship ranges from $500-$2,500.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/washboard.wsac.wa.gov\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">theWashBoard<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Paula Moore Memorial Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>The purpose of the Paula Moore Memorial Scholarship is to honor and to give financial support to graduating African American high school seniors currently enrolled in high schools located in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties in Washington State. Scholarship awards up to $2,500.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/seattlefoundation.smapply.org\/prog\/paula_moore_memorial_scholarship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SurveyMonkey Apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>PSBJ\u2019s Women of Influence \u2013 Lytle Enterprises Scholarship (Graduate Studies)<\/h3>\n<p>The Puget Sound Business Journal and Chuck and Karen Lytle joined forces to create the Puget Sound Business Journal\u2019s Women of Influence-Lytle Enterprises Scholarship Fund.\u00a0 To be a Woman of Influence, students must evidence not only leadership and achievement in business and in the community, but also be a mentor to other women.\u00a0 This scholarship will enable a woman of potential to develop her leadership and business acumen in a local graduate school of business. Two $7,500 scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing a career in the business world and who intend to attend a college or university within WA State. Preference given to students who intend to attend one of the five universities listed here: Seattle University, University of Washington, Washington State University, Western Washington University, Central Washington University. Applicants must be a dependent or child of a Boeing employee who is on the active payroll and has been with Boeing for a minimum of five years.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/washboard.wsac.wa.gov\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">theWashBoard<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>The Theresa Earenfight Liberation History Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>The purpose of the\u00a0<strong>The Theresa Earenfight Liberation History Scholarship\u00a0<\/strong>is to support undergrad or graduate students who are passionate about the intersection of social justice and animal welfare within a historical context. This is a $10,000 annual scholarship renewable through the completion of the student\u2019s degree, assuming the student continues to meet the eligibility criteria. The scholarship may be applied to tuition and fees, or other academic expenses payable to the college or university.\u00a0<strong>Application on:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/seattlefoundation.smapply.org\/prog\/earenfight_scholarship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SurveyMonkey Apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Seahawks Players\u2019 Equality &amp; Justice For All Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>Seahawks players, the Seahawks Players\u2019 Equality &amp; Justice for All Scholarship Fund aims to build a more compassionate and inclusive society by supporting career opportunities for students who have overcome significant adversary. Preference will be given to students of color and first-generation college students.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarships will be renewable for a total of 2-years or 4-years depending on the certification or degree the student pursues. Eligible expenses include tuition and fees. A primary goal of this scholarship is to help improve gender diversity in the technology industry. Open to students who plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States.
