The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the emotional well-being of all of us; and in unique ways for each of us. There are evidence based and experience tested strategies to promote our emotional health and support healing in times of community wide stress and trauma. The Community Well-Being group of Public Health \u2013 Seattle &amp; King County\u2019s COVID Response has tracked emotional health data, coordinated with local and regional stakeholders, shared resources, and implemented projects and communications that aim to reduce the stigma about emotional health, increase connection and compassion, and strengthen partnership with community to address emotional health. The project entails participation in activities to promote emotional health across the local population by tracking emotional health data, serving with local and regional stakeholders, sharing resources, and implementing projects and communications that aim to reduce the stigma about emotional health, increase connection and compassion, and strengthen partnership with community to address emotional health.<\/p>\n<p>Further help on this page can be found by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/my.americorps.gov\/trust\/help\/applicant\/whcsh_home.htm#id=20\">clicking here.<\/a><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nMember Duties :<\/strong>\u00a0The Community Well-Being Leader will support the implementation of specific programs, including the Well-Being Messengers Program and the \u2018From Youth to You\u2019 Postcards projects initiated by the Community Well-Being Group of the Public Health COVID response. Duties related to these projects will include organization of the learning collaborative and continuing education seminars for the Well-Being Messengers, management of Postcard dissemination, and collection and analysis of outcomes measures and impact of both projects. In addition, the Community Well-Being Leader will assist organization of activities and events with partners \u2013 including the South King Emotional Wellness League coalition, the Young People and Family Emotional Health Task Force \u2013 and new public communications campaigns about supporting emotional health.
