Our Operating Principles are: <i>Accountability, Commitment, Empathy, Empowerment, Fun, Integrity, Respect, &amp; Well-being.<\/i><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>What you will do!<\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">As a Park Manager 2, you will manage a moderately complex park management unit by supervising staff who will carry out maintenance and operations tasks, interpretation and recreation programs, resource protection work and administrative requirements of the park management unit.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">The park management unit will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">A high level of facility and infrastructure development.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Several properties, employees and positions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">A moderate-to-large budget, revenue, day use count and overnight visitation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">The presence of Threatened and Endangered plant and animal species.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">Listing on the National Register of Historic Places of above- and below- ground cultural resources within the parks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">The presence of co-operating associations, and intergovernmental, agricultural or concession agreements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Minimum Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">(a) Four (4) years of experience as a Park Manager or equivalent natural resource manager.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>OR<\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">(b) A Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Park and Recreation Administration, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Studies or a related field; <b>AND <\/b>One (1) year of experience as a Park Manager or equivalent natural resource manager.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>What we are looking for (Desired Attributes): <\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">The following are skills that we have identified as key to success in this <i><b>Park Manager 2<\/b><\/i> role at OPRD.
