Are you ready to join a team that makes a difference every day in the lives of the people of Washington? \u00a0We are actively seeking a qualified\u00a0Aircraft Maintenance Technician\u00a0to join our team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong>This position repairs, rebuilds, maintains and inspects helicopter and fixed wing airframes, engines, props, rotors and equipment to meet agency operations, transportations, and reconnaissance to meet federal, state and agency regulations. Designs, manufactures and installs specialized parts and equipment. Under direction of the Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor (AMS).<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Required Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in aircraft and engine maintenance records logbook input, adjust, and documenting.<\/li>\n<li>Experience multitasking.<\/li>\n<li>2 years&#8217; experience operating as an FAA Qualified Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic or higher maintenance position within the last 4 years.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to consistently make sound decisions with little direct supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of: standard practices, methods, materials, tools and equipment of aeromechanlc trade, principles of operation of aircraft; use of aircraft testing and diagnostic equipment; safe practices.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to: inspect, diagnose trouble, adjust, maintain and repair aircraft; use hand and power tools; keep accurate records; determine maintenance needs from records and aircraft inspection.<\/li>\n<li>IAT MH-1, MH-2, MH-3, and A-110, (every 36 months) (Within 3 months of hire).<\/li>\n<li>IAT A-304 Aircraft Maintenance (Within 3 months of hire).<\/li>\n<li>IAT A\u00b7l00 Basic Aviation Safety (Within 3 months of hire).<\/li>\n<li>FAA Airframe and Power plant license (Current).<\/li>\n<li>Personally Owned tools to conduct aircraft maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent in this position is required to travel.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a valid driver&#8217;s license and have two years of driving experience. This position requires driving as an essential function.
