Are these the adjectives that would be used to describe you?<br \/>\nThen this might be the opportunity you\u2019ve been looking for!<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Fish and Wildlife\u2019s\u00a0Rules Coordination Unit is reaching out to fill one (1) full-time permanent Management Analyst position\u00a0to\u00a0serve as the subject matter expert on regulatory matters that are complex and an\u00a0integral part of the agency\u2019s Rules Coordination Unit.\u00a0This opportunity is located at our headquarters in Olympia, Washington.<\/p>\n<p>This Management Analyst position supports WDFW\u2019s mission by delivering accurate, timely, careful and well-crafted regulatory analyses that inform agency decisions and meet statutory requirements. This position reports to the agency\u2019s rules coordinator. Regulatory matters are complex and require the incumbent to exercise sound judgment regarding rules, procedures, and processes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DUTIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY DUTIES AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Creates, compiles, and manages the agency\u2019s rule-making docket and official rule-making files.\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Collaborates with the agency\u2019s Information Technology Division to ensure that electronic management of records occurs in an efficient and transparent manner, and that agency rule-making files are available for timely public inspection.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates with the agency\u2019s webmaster to ensure timely updates to the agency\u2019s rule-making docket and posting of agency rule-making activities on the website.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates with Information Governance Unit to assure transparency with rule-making processes and timely response to rule-making information requests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Coordinates and collaborates with Program Rules Coordinators and subject matter experts on the development, amendment and management of rule-making processes.\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Reviews, edits and assists in regulatory analyses of preproposals, proposed rules, expedited rules, final rules, and emergency rules as required under the Administrative Procedures Act.<\/li>\n<li>Provides research in support of proposed agency rules, reports, and legislation; presents results in well-organized and readable documents.<\/li>\n<li>Assists with finalizing rule filings, securing review and approval from program staff, as appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Provides rule-making support on behalf of the agency\u2019s Rules Coordination Unit.\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Provides research, information, and analyses in support of rule-making related litigation matters. Provide centralized support for agency rule-making activities, which may include gathering and analyzing information regarding potential effects of agency rule-making activities.
