Dr. Bolte is head of the Biological and Ecological Engineering Department at OSU. His research areas include mathematical modeling and simulation coupled human\/natural systems, agricultural systems, water supply and water use, community wildfire planning, climate adaptation, costal processes, influence network analysis and community resilience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal\"><b>About the series:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal\">The Climate Justice and Resilience events constitute a year-long series that runs approximately biweekly throughout the 2020-21 academic year. Each event is hosted by a different Evergreen program, and guests are welcome to attend either synchronously (at a time fixed by the host program) or asynchronously (webinar recordings will be available as soon as possible after the event).\u00a0 This work builds on several climate-related summer institutes, last year\u2019s \u201cbig bets\u201d climate proposal, and the visioning for potential incorporation of climate-related curricular areas into New Academic Directions.
