percentages vary throughout the year, summer construction season generally requires greater fieldwork that can exceed 50 percent.<\/li>\n<li>Fieldwork includes travelling to\/working in remote forested and aquatic locations during inclement weather.<\/li>\n<li>Walking over rough terrain for short distances (? 1 mile) regularly and occasionally over long distances (several miles).<\/li>\n<li>Teleworking options may currently be available for office work due to Covid.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Monday \u2013 Friday \u2013 8:00 a.m. \u2013 5:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>May be called out on weekends, holidays, or after hours for emergency permitting of flood related, or other emergency projects.<\/li>\n<li>Workload demands may require work outside the assigned work hours and adjustment of work schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Occasional attendance at evening meetings is required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Travel Requirements:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Periodic travel \u2013 statewide and regionally.<\/li>\n<li>Possible extended travel and evening or overnight trips.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tools and Equipment:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Field equipment, electro-shocker, survey equipment, computers, tablets and GPS locators.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Customer Interactions:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Effective negotiation with clients, local government officials, agriculture, forest and special interest groups.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/dd>\n<dt>Qualifications<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in fisheries, wildlife management, natural resource science, environmental science, or a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 OR\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional equivalent experience may substitute, year for year, for education requirement as long as that experience is in fish management or fish research, wildlife management or wildlife research, or habitat management or habitat research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>AND\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Three (3) years of professional experience in fish management or fish research, wildlife management or wildlife research, or habitat management or habitat research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>One (1) year as a Fish &amp;
