Nature & Purpose of the Position<\/span><\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n Pierce Conservation District (PCD) is seeking a Data Technician to assist in the coordination of data management for the District\u2019s GIS and CRM Programs. This is a part-time, non-permanent contract position that will work within the Program Support team, performing basic quality checks and publishing of GIS and CRM data, as well as assisting the GIS Program Manager in utilizing GIS data for quantitative analysis, map publishing, and supporting District programs with other basic technical support services. \n<\/span>Work will occur largely within an office or remote work setting, with the potentiality of in field locations (e.g. farm, riparian, and urban properties). The Technician must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions. Applicable field gear and equipment will be provided by PCD. Work vehicles will also be provided, for use with a valid driver\u2019s license.
