To learn more about Direct-Hire Authority, go to:\u00a0OPM.GOV Hiring Information &#8211; DHA.<\/p>\n<p>The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is looking for temporary employees to work as Prescribed Fire\/Fuels Technicians. For more information on Crew Types,\u00a0click here.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0Prescribed Fire\/Fuels Technician (GS-07 Range\/Forestry Technician)\u00a0plans and conducts project assessments which determine the presence or absence of hazardous wildland fuels. Reviews project plans and makes recommendations on appropriate levels of monitoring. Creates, updates and uses a database to model and analyze fire behavior and fire effects observation data.
