Domain expertise in wetlands, belowground ecosystems, biogeochemistry, or rhizosphere processes is required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Expertise or experience in other scientific domains such as coastal science, ecology, biology, geology, hydrology, or atmospheric sciences would be desireable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Familiarity with machine learning and advanced data analyses is desired, but not required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n A strong record of publications and leadership in one of the primary domains is required<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Discipline, principal job duties\/expectations, and qualitative and quantitative measures of performance that exceed the Functional Descriptor:<\/p>\n The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on data syntheses, model improvements, field observations, and experiments designed to improve our predictive understanding of ecosystem processes (C and nutrient transport and transformations) across a range of scales.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Leading tasks, teams, and mentoring other staff will be an important part of this position, as will be the ability to contribute to a larger multidisciplinary team<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Presenting research in peer-reviewed publications and at scientifically relevant conferences is expected.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n BS\/BA with 2 years of experience MS\/MA with 0-2 years of experience PhD with 0 years of experience<\/p>\n Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
