The location choices include the State Office or a District Office location in Oregon\/Washington.<\/p>\n<p>We expect to fill 1 vacancy at this time; however, additional positions may be filled from this announcement if they become available.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<div id=\"duties\">\n<ul class=\"usajobs-list-bullets\">\n<li>Serves as the Aquatic Habitat Management Program (AHMP) co-lead and one of three principle authoritative experts for aquatic resources to the State Director in the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Oregon\/Washington State Office (OSO).<\/li>\n<li>Translates and communicates national direction and related policy to formulate and recommend policies and program direction at the regional or state level, which includes fisheries and hydrology related needs.<\/li>\n<li>Provides leadership, oversight, coordination, and ensures consistency and compliance with policy, procedures, standards, and established laws and regulations for the program.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates with local government agencies, State agencies, other Federal agencies, Tribal councils, other BLM offices, interest groups, and staff, program leads, and management from the BLM Headquarters.<\/li>\n<li>BLM OSO representative on interagency committees.
