As a youth-led organization, our vision is for young adults to see themselves as capable of fostering a more equitable future. tSB builds community around strengthening youth capacity and amplifying youth voice by providing access to opportunities for leadership and personal development. We provide a safe and supportive space where high school young adults\u2019 voices from marginalized communities across King County are heard and valued.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a passionate and experienced Program Manager to join our team. This person will supervise the Program Coordinator, develop program curriculum along with our Peer Leaders and evaluate the success of our programs while ensuring tSB fosters programs of excellence. This position will also partner with the Executive Director to provide strategic programmatic direction. This is a full-time, exempt position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree and\/or equivalent work experience in non-profit industry<br \/>\n\u2022 At least two years\u2019 experience with developing and executing programs preferably in youth development<br \/>\n\u2022 At least two years\u2019 experience with developing and maintaining successful community partnerships<br \/>\n\u2022 At least one year experience managing staff<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience with, and understanding of, the diverse communities we serve<br \/>\n\u2022 Passion for the mission and values of tSB<br \/>\n\u2022 Possesses valid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Strategic thinker who recognizes when to advocate strongly to reach organizational goals<br \/>\n\u2022 Demonstrated analytical and evaluative skills to effectively interpret information<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including experience working with various stakeholders and collaborating in a diverse and dynamic team environment<br \/>\n\u2022 Enthusiastic demeanor that takes initiative and possesses a high tolerance for ambiguity<\/p>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in outdoor programming<br \/>\n\u2022 Counseling\/social work background<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong group facilitation skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Socio-emotional awareness<br \/>\n\u2022 Cultural competence<\/p>\n<p><strong>ROLES\/<\/strong><b>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Leadership &amp; Management<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Provide successfully delivery of overall program and its activities to ensure alignment with tSB\u2019s mission and values<br \/>\n\u2022 Partner with Executive Director (ED) to conduct strategic planning, coordination and implementation of annual program plans and goals<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage program budget including periodic budget reports to ensure accuracy and controlled spending<br \/>\n\u2022 Supervise Program Coordinator (PC) and program interns<br \/>\n\u2022 Serve as staff lead for Risk Management Committee<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist ED with recruitment, interviewing and selection of well-qualified program staff<\/p>\n<p><strong>Planning &amp; Evaluation<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Evaluate tSB\u2019s programming to ensure continuous quality assessment, impact and recommendations for program improvement<br \/>\n\u2022 Establish recruitment and retention strategy for program participants including volunteers<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide regular reports on program for funders and board meetings<br \/>\n\u2022 Create work plan and provide performance evaluation for Program Coordinator<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program Partnerships<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Partner with ED to determine strategy for formalized programmatic partnerships<br \/>\n\u2022 Establish and maintain programmatic partnerships and foster long term relationships to ensure program effectiveness<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain an effective relationship with adult and youth program volunteers throughout program<br \/>\n\u2022 Partner with Development Manager to establish and execute alumni engagement strategy<br \/>\n\u2022 Partner with Outreach Coordinator to ensure visibility of organization at community events and activities<br \/>\n\u2022 Required to work some weekends and weeknights<\/p>\n<p><b>COMPENSATION<\/b><strong>\u00a0AND BENEFITS<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Salary DOE ($47,000-$50,000 range)<br \/>\n\u2022 Medical, Dental and 403b Retirement Plan<br \/>\n\u2022 Season Pass\/Lift Tickets to Stevens Pass and\/or the Summit at Snoqualmie<\/p>\n<p><strong>TO APPLY<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease submit a resume and cover letter, including your desired salary and start date to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:lacie@theserviceboard.org\">lacie@theserviceboard.org<\/a>.
