Qualifying experience may substitute year-for-year for the education requirement.<\/li>\n<li>Five (5) years of supervisory experience, program management, funding development, grant\/contract\/agreement review and administration, grant billing and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Proven record of grants written and funding secured.<\/li>\n<li>Proven commitment to land stewardship.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent technical writing skills and strong technical understanding of natural resources conservation, research\/monitoring, and education\/outreach.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-policy oriented audiences both in writing and through oral presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing multiple, diverse issues.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in grant and contract administration.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Valid, unrestricted driver\u2019s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s Degree in Natural Resources, Agriculture, Public Administration or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Professional knowledge of policies and practices of Conservation Districts.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, rules and policies that directly affect natural resource conservation on private lands in Washington.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of local, state, and federal conservation programs currently available to landowners such as EQIP, CRP, CREP, etc. and related conservation Best Management Practices (BMPs).<\/li>\n<li>Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of NRCS conservation practices, standards, and planning process.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with BIAS software for financial and grants management.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Smartsheet. for collaboration and work management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with WA BARS accounting system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"clearfix\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"job-frame-how-apply\"><span class=\"how-apply-header\">HOW TO APPLY<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Apply here:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/app.smartsheet.com\/b\/form\/078efe605cd644499d4a19ed1312201e\">https:\/\/app.smartsheet.com\/b\/form\/078efe605cd644499d4a19ed1312201e<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please be prepared to submit a letter of interest, resume, three professional references, and writing sample (preferably a grant proposal that you authored which was awarded funding).
