The Program Manager implements the adopted Conservation Lands Management Plan utilizing adaptive management techniques to oversee conservation lands, trails, and open spaces for public recreation and provides educational outreach to preserve natural and cultural resources.<\/p>\n
Develop and implement natural, cultural, and recreational management plans and best management practices for City-owned public natural areas using a scientific research process<\/p>\n
\u25cf Responsible for the hiring, training, supervision, evaluation and performance of staff including seasonal and intermittent
\n\u25cf Oversee program budget including purchasing, contracted services, grants, and permit fees
\n\u25cf Develop and deliver reports and presentations to public boards, committees, and the media
\n\u25cf Assist with the implementation of collaborative community Open Space, green infrastructure, and climate resiliency projects
\n\u25cf Coordinate Conservation Lands activities with other department supervisors and outside agencies to facilitate efficient, effective, and professional departmental operations
\n\u25cf Prepare and administer grants related to conservation lands and assigned public areas or programs<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
