The coordinator will work to implement the integrated weed management plan, collaborating with local, state, and federal entities, for public outreach and education, and for assessing and treating noxious weeds and other non-native invasive species on the Yakama Reservation and the ceded territory. The work is done to assure the viability and long-term survival of native, rare, and traditionally important species and their habitats.<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<\/p>\n<p>\uf0a7 Knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).<\/p>\n<p>\uf0a7 Knowledge of the National Indian Forest Resources Management Act (NIFRMA).<\/p>\n<p>\uf0a7 Knowledge of the Endangered Species Act (ESA).<\/p>\n<p>\uf0a7 Knowledge of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). \uf0a7 Knowledge of the Clean Water Act (CWA).<\/p>\n<p>\uf0a7 Knowledge of Yakama Nation Law &amp; Order Code.<\/p>\n<p>\uf0a7 Knowledge of the Yakama Nation Treaty of 1855.<\/p>\n<p>\uf0a7 Knowledge of East Cascades\/Columbia Basin plants, habitats and animal species.<\/p>\n<p>\uf0a7 Knowledge of Wilderness Act, Wild Horse Protection Act of 1959, Sustained Yield Forest Management Act, Forest and Rangeland Renewable Resources Planning Act.<\/p>\n<p>\uf0a7 Knowledge of GIS software and Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint software and other data management software.<\/p>\n<p>\uf0a7 Knowledge of principles of wildlife biology and management including;
