Professor Lane\u00a0Selman<\/span>\u00a0will be speaking from 10:30-12 in the\u00a0\u201cTerroir\/Meroir\u201d<\/a>\u00a0program (hosted by Sarah Williams, Prita Lal and Steve Scheuerell).\u00a0 An Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Horticulture at Oregon State University, she is passionate about food system resilience and created the\u00a0Culinary Breeding Network<\/a>\u00a0to build communities of plant breeders, seed growers, farmers, produce buyers, chefs, and eaters to improve quality in vegetables and grains.<\/p>\n
