Successful candidates will work with a multidisciplinary team of accomplished scientists, planners, engineers, arborists, and landscape architects in a growing 37-year-old employee-owned company based in Kirkland, Washington.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Duties and Expectations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Coordination with project applicants, engineers, architects and agency staff to ensure project permit feasibility<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Preparation of environmental permits and documentation, including USACE 404, HPA, shoreline, 401 WQ Cert, local critical area permits, SEPA\/NEPA, and preparation of Environmental Impact Statements<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Assist with development of environmental policy that protects natural resources in concert with the interests of people and communities to create sustainable solutions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills (testing may be required)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Demonstrated ability to use standard computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Interacting and communicating with clients, regulators, and staff at all levels<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Ability to juggle competing demands and identify critical path<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Occasional travel in locations across the Pacific Northwest<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Valid driver\u2019s license and good driving record<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Desired Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Minimum of 1+\u00a0 years of experience performing above duties<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Bachelor\u2019s degree in planning, environmental science, or a related field; Master\u2019s degree preferred<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Experience with local, state, and federal permitting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Ability to work cooperatively on multidisciplinary projects<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Experience in oral presentations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Salary and Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Salary depends on experience and qualifications.
