To learn more, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.org\">www.nature.org<\/a> or follow @nature_press on Twitter.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Position Summary<\/p>\n<p>The Development Coordinator works on a variety of fundraising activities in support of approved tactics and provides administrative and\/or program support.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree and 1-year experience or equivalent combination.<\/p>\n<p>Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.<\/p>\n<p>Experience managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.<\/p>\n<p>Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>Experience working with databases, including managing and tracking data.<\/p>\n<p>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to write and edit written materials for use with donor solicitations, member communications, and special events.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to analyze information for the purpose of preparing reports, coordinating efforts and solving problems.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to apply research skills.<\/p>\n<p>Experience, coursework, or other training in fundraising principles &amp; practices.<\/p>\n<p>Familiarity with corporate and\/or foundation giving practices and guidelines preferred.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>HOW TO APPLY<\/p>\n<p>To apply and read the full job description of this position, submit resume (required) and cover letter separately on our careers site <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.org\/careers\">https:\/\/www.nature.org\/careers<\/a>.
