threatened, endangered and sensitive plant species, plant community and vegetation management.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor effects of activities on plant communities and interpret trends where management emphasis changes.<\/li>\n<li>Stay informed on latest status of threatened, endangered and sensitive plants to maintain current sensitive plant lists and recommend plants that should be included.<\/li>\n<li>Identify vegetation communities and conduct vegetation inventories using basic botanical methods and techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain plant surveys to meet environmental assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct environmental data collection field surveys and maintain inventory of plant occurrence records.<\/li>\n<li>Make on-the-ground investigations related to long-term survival of rare plants and the effects of activities in complex ecological and botanical conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct training in habitat analysis, plant identification, and documentation in accordance with management plans and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Provide professional advice and guidance on botanical issues to colleagues and management.<\/li>\n<li>Exchange sensitive plant and native re-vegetation program information with other experts.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare informational responses to internal directives or agency, public group, and individual inquiries.<\/li>\n<li>Implement management plans for the protection and enhancement of habitat for special status plants and control of noxious weeds or other invasive species.<\/li>\n<li>Provide expertise, interpreting complex botanical situations on interdisciplinary teams involving specialists from other management groups.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with academic institutions on research and surveys that are periodically conducted on the unit.<\/li>\n<li>Review environmental assessments and environmental impact statements and make recommendations to ensure botanical resources and ecosystem integrity are adequately considered.<\/li>\n<li>Participate on interdisciplinary teams to coordinate the effective management of threatened, endangered and sensitive plant species.<\/li>\n<li>Manage invasive species and native plant community restoration projects.<\/li>\n<li>Develop or assist with developing sensitive plant lists and species management guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare botanical reports, biological
