Serves as a technical advisor for an outdoor recreation program.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates with managers, planners, and resource specialists to identify recreation program requirements and resource needs on a local scale and develop long and short-term outdoor recreation plans to address needs.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the operation of public use sites, permit programs, concessionaire operations, facilities, etc. It may also conduct outreach to promote recreational opportunities on public land.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend new signage, brochures, displays, and other public information materials, and\/or the construction of new recreation facilities and structures. Identify trends and patterns in the development and management of recreation resources.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and evaluate services, projects, programs, and\/or functions of one or more Outdoor Recreation Programs. Conduct monitoring and\/or inventory studies and surveys.<\/li>\n<li>Identify data gaps and recommend strategies to collect required data. Enter, manipulate, update, and maintain data in automated systems according to recreation program standards.<\/li>\n<li>Assess the effect of recreation on natural and cultural resources.
