We work to provide housing for our community members experiencing homelessness in Thurston County, Washington. We are a tiny house village that offers communal living with rich peer mentorship and support. Our staff work side-by-side with residents to help them reach their individual goals and to connect them with various community services.<\/p>\n<p>The Quixote Work Study provides administrative support to the staff at Quixote Village, including managing our donations and donor database, managing our general email account, putting together resources for staff and residents, helping staff research ways to braid or best use community resources, responding to questions from community members, and other administrative functions. The Quixote Village work study reports to the Program Manager. remote for fall and covid safe possible in future.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"GroupedField clear\">\n<div class=\"objectform-parent NoLines objectform-item-display\">\n<div><label>Qualifications:<\/label><\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"item-value\">&#8211; Currently attending the Evergreen State College and receiving work study<br \/>\n&#8211; Excellent communication skills (written and oral)<br \/>\n&#8211; Ability to work with a high-need population and maintain healthy boundaries<br \/>\n&#8211; Work independently with minimal supervision<br \/>\n<strong>MUST HAVE Financial Aid and WORK STUDY eligible TO APPLY<\/strong>!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"objectform-parent NoLines clear objectform-item-display\">\n<div><label>Learning Objectives \u200b(Required for Internships and Work Study)\u200b:\u00a0<\/label><\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"item-value\">Improved communication skills with people of different backgrounds.
