The Community Service Work Study Program is a collaboration between Evergreen\u2019s Student Employment office and the Center for Community Based Learning and Action (CCBLA). This program connects Evergreen students to the CCBLA\u2019s community partners and provides them with community-based learning experiences that truly reclaim the &#8220;study&#8221; in work-study job positions. By gaining real-world experiences in fields that students hope to enter post-college, they\u2019re also offsetting the burden of student loan debt by getting paid to do meaningful work.<\/p>\n<p>The CCBLA\u2019s Community Service Work Study Program Coordinator position is remote for 2020 provides support to the 20 work-study program participants through outreach, interviews, placements, check-ins, trainings and by hosting gatherings for the work-study students.
