As employees, we own the Company, and our ownership culture promotes individual accountability to our clients, each other, and our community.<\/p>\n<p>As part of our continued success, Landau Associates is seeking an Environmental Permitting\/Planner professional experienced with a broad array of local, state, and federal permit compliance opportunities. The selected candidate would have the option to work in our Edmonds, Seattle, Tacoma, or Olympia office locations.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities Include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support preparation of NEPA\/SEPA documentation, including but not limited to:\n<ul>\n<li>Zoning and Shoreline Master Program consistency evaluations<\/li>\n<li>Air and Noise evaluations<\/li>\n<li>Terrestrial\/aquatic habitat and Endangered Species Act evaluations<\/li>\n<li>SEPA checklists, NEPA Categorical Exclusion or Environmental Assessment forms, and discipline reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Manage, conduct, and support field activities for permit evaluation and compliance (ex., delineations, monitoring studies, assessments, among others)<\/li>\n<li>Support acquisition of CWA Section 404\/Rivers and Harbors Act Section 10, Washington State Fish and Wildlife HPA, Shoreline Management Act, CWA Section 401 Water Quality Certifications, and other land use and local critical areas ordinance permits.<\/li>\n<li>Interact and communicate with clients; manage and mentor of staff at all levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This position is available for the candidate who has:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in biological sciences, environmental sciences, or planning, Master\u2019s a plus<\/li>\n<li>5 to 10 years of direct experience in the management, oversight, coordination, and related reporting on the responsibilities listed above<\/li>\n<li>Permitting and compliance experience at the local, state, and federal levels, for projects in both the private and public sector environment<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated success with client engagement and business development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Landau Associates is committed to quality, collaboration, and responsiveness, and seeks candidates who share the same values.
