{"id":33928,"date":"2020-08-27T13:59:13","date_gmt":"2020-08-27T20:59:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/?p=33928"},"modified":"2020-08-27T13:59:13","modified_gmt":"2020-08-27T20:59:13","slug":"call-for-chapters-palgrave-encyclopedia-of-urban-and-regional-futures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/call-for-chapters-palgrave-encyclopedia-of-urban-and-regional-futures\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Chapters: Palgrave Encyclopedia of Urban and Regional Futures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><b>Call for Chapters: Palgrave Encyclopedia of Urban and Regional Futures, a Major Reference Work published by Palgrave Macmillan, Springer Nature\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Chapter contributions can be on a topic related to urban and regional issues.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Chapters can be authored, or co-authored with expert colleagues, with several chapter lengths available:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2022 Short 750 \u2013 2,000 words<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2022 Medium 2,000 \u2013 4,000 words<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2022 Longer central topics from 5,000 to 10,000 words<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The deadline for a chapter submission is anytime between now and October 31st, 2021.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Encyclopedia provides readers (practitioners, academics, researchers etc.) with expert interdisciplinary knowledge on how urban centres and regions are becoming resilient, resource-efficient, environmentally friendly, liveable, socially equitable, integrated, and technology-enabled centres and regions.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">*Contributions\u00a0<u>should not<\/u>\u00a0be written as a research paper. Content should be tertiary in nature. Case studies are welcome.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The list of topics welcome can be found in the link below.
