{"id":33895,"date":"2020-08-20T15:21:29","date_gmt":"2020-08-20T22:21:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/?p=33895"},"modified":"2020-08-20T15:21:29","modified_gmt":"2020-08-20T22:21:29","slug":"job-regional-representative-western-united-states-pheasants-forever-quail-forever-western-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/job-regional-representative-western-united-states-pheasants-forever-quail-forever-western-us\/","title":{"rendered":"Job: Regional Representative &#8211; Western United States, Pheasants Forever &amp; Quail Forever (Western US)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h1><strong><u>Regional Representative<\/u><\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1><strong>Western United States<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Location<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0 Western US, with Preferred location in the South West<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Organizational Profile<\/u><\/strong><strong>: \u00a0<\/strong>We seek an individual with the talent, passion and desire to promote and grow the Nation\u2019s leading upland wildlife habitat conservation organization. \u00a0 Pheasants Forever (PF) and Quail Forever (QF) have over 700 chapters and 145,000 members.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The team members we desire are innovative and creative thinkers with a proven success of following through with their ideas.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated set of skills that bring strong organizational skills, leadership and sales to the position.<\/li>\n<li>B.A.\/B.S. in Marketing, Education, Business, Wildlife Biology or related field with practical experience.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work and interact with sportsmen.<\/li>\n<li>Innovative and resourceful self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Job Description &amp; Primary Responsibilities:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide customer service to chapters across the region. \u00a0A primary focus of the duties will include increasing memberships, merchandise sales, and facilitating contributions to national and state programs.<\/li>\n<li>Work with chapters to increase the efficiencies and effectiveness of fund-raising events.<\/li>\n<li>Create new chapters and restructure existing chapters to encourage strong volunteer committees that are striving to fulfill the mission of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and use methods of regular communication with chapter leaders to keep our volunteers informed and motivated about the organization\u2019s mission, activities, goals and fund-raising efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Work as a team member to develop and deliver a consistent message about our habitat and youth education mission.<\/li>\n<li>Promote the PF\/QF mission &amp; fund-raising efforts that support the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and conduct district meetings and state meetings with chapters.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and develop prospects for PF\/QF development campaigns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Starting Salary<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0 Dependent upon qualifications &amp; experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Closing Date<\/u><\/strong><strong>:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0September 7, 2020<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Anticipated Start Date<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0 October 5, 2020<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>To Apply<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0Please click on the blue\u00a0<strong>APPLY\u00a0<\/strong>icon at the bottom or upper right corner.
