We are excited to announce that applications are open for the\u00a0New Economy Washington Frontline Community Fellowship<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n

If you or someone you know is a leader of color who is building a new economic model that changes the underlying conditions of our economy and restores self-determination to BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) communities facing legacies of injustice and you are looking to grow your vision, consider\u00a0applying to the\u00a0NEW Frontline Community Fellowship<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The NEW Frontline Community Fellowship \u00a0is a 15-month opportunity for individuals and \u00a0organizations \u00a0from communities of color on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis who are leading projects and campaigns for a just, transformative and regenerative economic recovery.\u00a0<\/strong>As a NEW Frontline Community Fellow, you can experiment in building a new economy that centers and empowers BIPOC communities through your Fellowship project. We are looking for strong leaders with the backing of their communities who are interested in advancing experimental concepts or early stage planning efforts to fully developed projects and campaigns. We invite you to apply if you have a powerful idea or active project to make systemic change in our economy and you are \u00a0interested in getting support and being part of a cohort of others with aligned visions and shared values. The COVID-19 pandemic and Black Lives Matter movement force us all to recognise that systemic change is \u00a0a necessity not an option. Tell us about the systemic problem you are working to address and why it\u2019s important. Describe how you want to transform the economy and who the communities you are serving and centering \u00a0are.<\/p>\n
