\n\u2022\u00a0Gather GPS data and post-process that data to GIS formats and create data dictionaries

\n\u2022\u00a0Oversee GIS data collection efforts in the field
\n\u2022\u00a0Plan, organize, integrate, monitor, and maintain a comprehensive GIS program with long-range GIS system goals

\n\u2022\u00a0Understand, analyze and define user requirements and recommend cost effective systems solutions.

QualificationsQualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):<\/strong><\/u>
\nAny equivalent combination of education and work experience which provides the applicant with knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:<\/p>\nExperience:<\/u>\u00a0 Four years of progressively responsible technical experience in GIS applications.
\nEducation and Training:<\/u>\u00a0Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Computer Science, Planning, Engineering, Surveying or related field.\u00a0 Master’s Degree preferred.<\/p>\n
Required License or Certifications:<\/u>
\n\u2022\u00a0Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) preferred
\n\u2022\u00a0Valid State of Washington Driver License with a driving record acceptable to the City.
\n\u2022\u00a0Must be able to successfully pass a background check<\/p>\n
