This book attempts to provide an understanding of vulnerability, resilience and adaptation strategies in the developing countries, and how that can contribute to sustainable development futures. The special issue welcomes theoretical, empirical, experimental, and case study research contributions. The topics may include but are not limited to the following:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Understanding of geographies of vulnerability<\/div>\n<div>Processes, responses and experiences in vulnerability and resilience: Case studies<\/div>\n<div>Climate change adaptation and sustainable development<\/div>\n<div>Livelihood vulnerability processes and indicators<\/div>\n<div>Socio-economic vulnerability: theory, research and practice<\/div>\n<div>Dynamics of drivers of vulnerability<\/div>\n<div>Emerging and innovative research methods and methodologies on human system adaptations<\/div>\n<div>Urban\/rural sustainability and resilience<\/div>\n<div>Urban\/rural human system adaptations<\/div>\n<div>Institutional and ethical dimensions of resilience<\/div>\n<div>Climate change, vulnerability and food security<\/div>\n<div>Climate change and migration<\/div>\n<div>Climate resilient futures<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Other topics may be considered, and interested authors are invited to contact the editorial team with suggestions.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This will be a high profile book, to be widely cited in the literature, and offers an excellent addition to one\u00b4s CV. The peer-reviewed nature of the publications in the book series \u201cClimate Change Management\u201d means that they have over the years officially counted for promotion and tenure purposes.
