As a leader and mentor with The Climate Reality Project, Harriet chairs the Climate Reality NYC Metro Chapter and was the recipient of the Climate Reality 2017 Green Ring Award. A review by the American Library Association of Harriet\u2019s 2020 book,\u00a0<em>How to Talk to Your Kids About Climate Change, Turning Angst to Action,<\/em>\u00a0states that, \u201cShugarman has written a pointedly apolitical title aimed at easing the climate change conversation between parents and children.
