Identifies opportunities to raise awareness of the company\u2019s mission, values and objectives among a variety of audiences.\u00a0Through cross-functional collaboration, excellent team building and management, this position will be a key strategic team member, providing input to the strategic planning process and developing a compelling narrative for communicating the company\u2019s commitment to its customers and stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE\u2019s operating and\/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><b>Job Responsibilities<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Leads the marketing communications component of strategic company initiatives and issues. This includes development and implementation of marketing communications plans, campaign execution and optimization to meet goals and objectives, campaign reporting and performance tracking, budget accountability, team coordination and project management.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies and prioritizes the key initiative and issue risks and develops the marketing communications strategy that addresses each risk in a timely and efficient manner.<\/li>\n<li>Provides input into the development of the department&#8217;s strategic planning process and input into the evolution of PSE&#8217;s communication strategies and approaches, including new media technology, consumer engagement strategies and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><b>Minimum Qualifications<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, media, business innovation, strategic leadership\/management or related field, and 7 years relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>\n<li>Direct experience in marketing communications with consumer and\/or institutional customers within a corporate and\/or advertising, public relations or creative agency environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience managing increasingly complex projects with cross-functional teams and in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience developing a customer\/market research plan and utilizing research findings to inform and improve upon marketing campaign performance, strategies and tactics.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing marketing tactical and campaign budgets to goal, and managing or collaborating with external advertising or creative agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Proven understanding of brand advocacy and corporate reputation building.<\/li>\n<li>Track record of innovation and creative thinking.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><b>Desired Qualifications<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree in strategic leadership or management.<\/li>\n<li>LEAN certification, Project Management certification or Six Sigma certification.<\/li>\n<li>Broad knowledge of gas and electric utility rates, business objectives, to include operations, customer service, finance, and corporate relations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><b>Additional Information<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>Families and businesses depend on PSE to provide the energy they need to pursue their dreams.\u00a0 Our steadfast commitment to serving Washington communities with safe, dependable and efficient energy started in 1873.\u00a0 Today we&#8217;re building the Northwest&#8217;s energy future through efforts like our award winning energy efficiency programs and our leadership in renewable energy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>At PSE we value and respect our employees and provide them opportunities to excel.
