Position is responsible for conducting community engagement, fundraising and project management for restoration activities in the North Umpqua River watershed on the Umpqua National Forest, and will work in close coordination with the U.S. Forest Service, community organizations, and implementation partners to accomplish identified goals and activities throughout the watershed. Duties include:<\/p>\n<p><u>Community engagement<\/u>\u00a0-creating a strategic implementation plan, conducting ongoing communication with partners, networking with organizations;<\/p>\n<p><u>Project management<\/u>\u00a0\u2013 preparing project implementation plans, overseeing contractors, managing services agreements, invoices, and finances; and<\/p>\n<p><u>Fundraising<\/u>\u00a0\u2013 soliciting funds, preparing grant and funding reports, communication \u00a0\u2026 more.<\/p>\n<p>Must possess a Bachelor\u2019s degree in natural resources, conservation or related field; a minimum of 3 years\u2019 work experience with proven results; strong knowledge and experience of the U.S. Forest Service land management policies, procedures, and regulations, excellent communication skills and analytical skills with strong attention to detail; able to work independently while being flexible in a team environment; have a valid U.S. driver\u2019s license \u2026 more.
